Jim is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a Certified Hotel Administrator with more than 40 years of experience at the highest levels of the hospitality industry. His military education and service provide him with a strong background in leadership, organization and planning. His professional career includes participating in the design, construction, renovation and operation of luxury properties on four continents.
As COO and General Manager he managed the Jupiter Island Club, the premier private club in the US. As President & CEO of The World of ResidenSea, he worked with the ship’s Residents to purchase, organize and operate the only residential community at sea in the world. Jim has represented owners in development projects, selected brand and operating companies, negotiated with governmental entities, led organizations from the edge of bankruptcy to success and traveled as a hospitality advisor to a former US President.
At Precise Hospitality Management LLC, he continues to provide professional services on a wide range of hospitality projects. Current projects include management of Iconic Santorini, Greece’s Leading Boutique Hotel, directing the marketing of Escarpment Luxury Lodge, Tanzania and leading the development team for the Amaryllis Hotel Blantyre, Malawi. Projects in pre-development are located in Africa and Central America.
