Ellenborough Park

Our participation in the Ellenborough Park project began in the early development stages of this amazing project. Working with a Listed Building presents many complications that do not occur very often in new-builds or renovations in modern buildings.

The project required working closely with the architects and engineers on two distinctively different levels. The biggest challenge was to modernize a series of centuries old buildings into the core of a modern hotel without violating the Listed Building requirements or destroying the beauty and ambiance of the very special property. The second challenge was to add additional modern rooms, facilities and amenities that fit seamlessly with the older buildings and looked like they were always there, down to the arrow slits in the outer walls!!

Our role was to work closely with the ownership, operating management, brand, architects and engineers to bring the project from concept to successful opening.
