Our Story
In 2002, James St. John, our President & CEO, completed a successful six year assignment at the well-respected Jupiter Island Club. During his tenure as COO & GM, he oversaw the club’s transition from family ownership to board governance by the residents, all while rebuilding the infrastructure, facilities and amenities of this century old institution.
Striking out on his own, first as Hospitality America, LLC which evolved to Precise Hospitality Management, providing a broad range of services to elite private clubs. By word of mouth, these services were soon sought out by hotels and resorts worldwide.
Over the past fifteen years the company has participated in diverse projects located in North and South America, Central America and the Caribbean as well as Europe and Africa. One of his early clients was the owners’ committee on board the residential vessel, M/V The World, perhaps the most complex and spectacular hospitality project on the planet.
On completion of the initial assignment for the owners’ committee, Jim was asked to take on the overall management of the ship and its operations. The worldwide exposure to hospitality projects and professionals he gained during this time has fueled the growth of Precise Hospitality Management.
Jim has represented owners in several asset management projects, selected brand and operating companies on their behalf, negotiated with governmental entities and led organizations from the edge of bankruptcy to success. In 2010 he was honored to be asked to travel to Haiti as a hospitality advisor to former US President Bill Clinton, immediately following the devastating earthquake.
With projects underway or in development, the Precise Team of international hospitality professionals is well positioned for the next phase of growth.
