Amaryllis Hotel Blantyre

Blantyre, Malawi

This assignment commenced immediately after the owner broke ground on the property and continues until just after opening. We walked through the entire development process with the owner while actively participating in the Project Management Team.

On this assignment, we worked with the Architect, Contractor and Interior Decorator in the design and layout of the facilities, assisted in the development of the financial model, supported ownership with lender activities and currently provide direct input in project management by setting construction priorities.

We conducted a Brand Evaluation, competitive market survey, evaluated the local labor market and laws in order to develop the preliminary staffing guide, determined the requirements for staff housing, reviewed the local government hotel classification system and begun the process of hiring and training the staff.
